ROLE: BRAND, PACKAGING, PRODUCTION, COFOUNDER
Taste Plants was founded to produce a better breath mint.
Together with a good friend, we founded Taste Plants in 2017.
Most breath fresheners are/were flavored with a flavoring ingredients hidden behind the label “natural flavors” and sweetened with sugar that perpetuates stale breath.
There wasn’t a breath freshener on the market that excited us.
We researched what plants could be used as natural breath fresheners (a lot), and set about determining an initial flavor offering.
Wordmark
The use of pure, functional, simple ingredients, is at the core of the Taste Plants brand.
The wordmark is set in SpaceMono, a monospace typeface with a clean, utilitarian feeling. Good fit.
Compostable tube packaging
Shopify site featuring expandable ingredient list on the product page.
I left Taste Plants in 2020 to pursue another project.
